Everything begins with these. Files, hammers, saw frames — most of them older than the studio itself, some inherited from the last person to sit at the bench.

We buy the stone before we design the piece. Every setting is drawn around one particular gem, which is why no two commissions come out the same.

Most of what we make starts as somebody's rough sketch, an inherited stone, or a photograph of something that no longer exists. We draw, you approve, we make. Eight to fourteen weeks.
